Welcome to The Cardboard Boxes Hub. We design, print and ship custom cardboard and corrugated packaging. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a contract between you and us the moment you use this website, request a quote, or place an order.
Please read them before you order. If there is anything here you cannot accept, do not place the order, and talk to us instead. Custom packaging is made to your specification and cannot be resold, which is why several clauses below are stricter than what you would see on a general retail site.
These Terms apply to our website, our quote and rush order forms, orders taken by phone or email, and every job we produce for you. Together with the quote or invoice for a specific job, they make up the whole agreement between us.
If a signed contract or a written quote says something different for one particular order, that document wins for that order only. Everything else on this page still stands.
Placing an order means you have read these Terms and accepted them, whether or not you ticked a box to say so.
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.
- If you order on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.
- Account details must be accurate and kept up to date. You are responsible for anything done through your account.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else is using your login.
We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud, a pricing error, an unlawful use, or where we simply cannot produce the job to the standard we want to stand behind. If we cancel, you get a full refund of anything already paid for that order.
- Quotes are valid for 15 days unless the quote itself says otherwise. Board and freight costs move, so older quotes get re-checked.
- A quote is based on the exact specification you gave us: size, board grade, print colours, coating, quantity and destination. Change any one of those and the price changes too.
- Prices exclude sales tax, duties and import charges unless stated. Those are yours to pay.
- Website prices are for standard specs. Structural design work, custom dielines, and complex finishes may be quoted separately.
- If a price is listed with an obvious error, we will contact you before production and either honour a corrected price or cancel and refund.
Payment is due in full before production starts unless we have agreed credit terms with you in writing. Approved accounts pay within the terms on the invoice, and overdue balances may pause work on any open jobs.
An order becomes binding in stages, and it helps to know exactly where the line is:
| Stage | What it means | Can you still change it? |
| Quote accepted | Price and spec agreed | Yes, freely |
| Payment received | Job enters prepress | Yes, small fee may apply |
| Proof approved | Plates and dies get made | No, this is the point of no return |
| In production | Board is printing and cutting | No |
| Shipped | Tracking issued | No |
An order confirmation email is an acknowledgement that we received your order. The contract for that job forms when we accept it and begin prepress.

Artwork and proof approval
This is the section that causes the most disputes in our industry, so read it twice.
- Send print ready files in the format on our spec sheet, with fonts outlined, images at 300 dpi, and a 3 mm bleed. Files that miss these can delay the job.
- We send a digital proof for approval on every custom job. Approving that proof is your sign off on spelling, layout, dimensions, barcodes and colour placement.
- Once you approve, we make plates and dies. Errors found after this point are reprinted at your cost, even if the mistake was in the file you supplied.
- Screen colours do not match printed ink. If exact colour matters, order a physical sample or supply a Pantone reference. We cannot honour colour claims based on a monitor.
- We may make minor technical adjustments to your file, such as trapping or resolution fixes, so the job prints cleanly. We will not change your design.
Barcodes and legal text. Please scan test any barcode and check every regulatory or nutritional statement before you approve the proof. We print what you approve and cannot verify the accuracy of that content.
Printing and die cutting are physical processes. These industry standard tolerances apply and are not treated as defects:
| Item | Accepted tolerance | What it means for you |
| Quantity | Up to 5% over or under | Underruns are billed down, overruns are yours at no charge |
| Dimensions | ± 1/8 inch (about 3 mm) | Test fit your product before ordering large volumes |
| Colour | Slight shade shift between runs | Order all your stock in one run for a perfect match |
| Board grade | Nearest equivalent if stock runs out | We will tell you before we substitute anything |
If your product needs tighter tolerances than these, tell us before you order so we can quote the job properly or advise against it honestly.
Turnaround is quoted in business days from proof approval, not from the day you paid. Weekends, public holidays and the time you spend reviewing a proof do not count.
- Rush orders are handled first but are still estimates, not guarantees.
- Delays caused by late files, slow proof approval or changed specs push the schedule back by at least the same amount.
- Estimated delivery dates are our best forecast. We do not guarantee arrival on a specific calendar date unless we have agreed it in writing for that job.
- Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier collects the goods from our facility.
- You are responsible for giving us a correct, complete address that can receive a freight delivery. Re-delivery or address correction fees are billed to you.
- Large orders may ship on pallets. Make sure someone can receive and unload them, or ask us about a liftgate before shipping.
- Orders can arrive in multiple boxes or on multiple trucks. A partial arrival is not a short shipment until the last tracking number is delivered.
- For international orders, customs duties, import taxes and clearance charges are yours. Refused shipments do not qualify for a refund.
Once goods leave our facility, carrier delays are outside our control. We will always help you chase and file a claim, but we cannot compensate for a late truck.

Changes and cancellations
Custom packaging carries your branding and your dimensions, so it has no resale value to us. Cancellation rights reflect that:
Before prepress starts
Cancel for a full refund, minus any payment processing fee we cannot recover.
During prepress or proofing
Cancel and pay only for the design and prepress hours already spent.
After proof approval
Plates and dies are made. Cancellation is not possible and the order is billed in full.
Once in production
No cancellation, no changes, no partial refund. Board is already cut.
Because these are made to order goods produced to your specification, they are exempt from standard change of mind return rights. A correct order that you no longer want is not returnable.

Claims, reprints and refunds
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Here is how that works and what we need from you.
Report windows
- Within 48 hours of delivery: transit damage, missing cartons, or a short shipment.
- Within 7 days of delivery: print defects, wrong dimensions, wrong material, or workmanship faults.
What we need
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the fault and of the outer shipping carton
- Roughly how many units are affected
- The goods kept as received until the claim is settled
Where a claim is valid, we choose one of these remedies: reprint the affected quantity, credit your account, or refund the affected portion. Our total responsibility for any order is capped at what you paid for that order.
Not covered: issues you approved on the proof, colour differences within normal tolerance, quantity variance within 5 percent, damage after delivery, and problems caused by storing boxes in damp conditions. Corrugated board loses strength when it absorbs moisture.

Rights in what you send us
Your artwork stays yours. By uploading it you confirm three things:
- You own the artwork or have permission to use every element in it, including fonts, images and logos.
- Printing it will not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- The content is lawful and not misleading, offensive, or in breach of any labelling rules that apply to your product.
You give us a limited licence to store, adapt for print, and reproduce your files purely to produce your order. Nothing more. We will not display your work publicly without your written permission.
We may decline any job that appears to infringe someone else's rights or that we are not comfortable printing. If a third party makes a claim over artwork you supplied, that claim sits with you.
12
Our intellectual property
The website, its layout and code, our logo and brand name, our photography, structural templates, dielines and written content belong to The Cardboard Boxes Hub or our licensors.
You may view and print pages for your own business use. You may not copy our content for a competing site, scrape the site, resell our dielines, or use our name and logo in a way that suggests we endorse you.
If we create a structural design or dieline specifically for your product and you paid for that development, you may use it for your packaging. The underlying template and know-how stay ours.
13
Acceptable use of this site
Please do not:
- Upload malware or attempt to break, probe or overload our systems
- Scrape prices, content or images with bots or automated tools
- Place orders under a false identity or with a payment method you are not authorised to use
- Reverse engineer any part of the site or bypass its security
- Post reviews or messages that are abusive, defamatory or knowingly false
We may suspend or close any account that breaks these rules, and we will report serious cases to the relevant authorities.
14
Warranties and disclaimers
We warrant that your boxes will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, and will match the proof you approved, subject to the tolerances in section 06. That warranty runs for the claim periods in section 10.
Beyond that, the website and services are provided as they are. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise the site will always be available, error free, or that its content is complete and current.
We do not warrant that a given box will protect a given product in transit. Choosing the right board grade and structure for your goods is your call, though we are always happy to advise.
15
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. That includes lost profit, lost sales, missed retail launch windows, wasted marketing spend, damage to reputation, or the cost of the products you intended to pack.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to cover us, our staff and our suppliers against claims, damages, penalties and reasonable legal costs that arise from your artwork, your product claims or labelling, your breach of these Terms, or your unlawful use of the site. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you take part in the defence.
Neither side is liable for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control. Examples include natural disasters, fire, war, civil unrest, epidemics, strikes, power or internet outages, government action, carrier failures, and shortages of paper or board.
If such an event lasts more than 30 days, either side may cancel the affected order. You pay for work already completed, and anything beyond that is refunded.
18
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction.
Before filing anything, please email us and give us 30 days to sort it out. Most disputes in this business come from a misunderstanding about a proof, and most get resolved in a single phone call.
- Changes to these Terms: we may update them at any time. The revised version applies to orders placed after we post it, and the date at the top changes with it. Your existing orders keep the terms that applied when you placed them.
- Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign ours in a merger, sale or restructure.
- Severability: if a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- No waiver: if we do not enforce something once, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
- Notices: we contact you at the email on your account. Formal notices to us go to the email or postal address below in writing.
- Privacy: how we handle your data is covered in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
- No partnership: nothing here creates a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between us.
